After going through a hellish work week, there is nothing more exciting than a well deserved break finally arriving. And what better way to spend this than a good escape out of the city.

Laguna has always been a pick for quick getaways especially for those working in Manila.

Mountain Lake Resort located at Cavinti, Laguna offers you a wonderful experience and breathtaking views.

This resort will bring out the long time tired spirit of you in an adventure.

Things To Do

Filipinos love to eat, that is why food trip is on the top list. The Resort has its own restaurant, La Cucina de Caliraya which offers a lot of delicious food varieties.

Zipline and Hanging Bridge

A must try attraction in the resort for only Php250.

Obstacle Course

It’s also nice to have a bit of a thrill when it comes to travelling. The Resort has its own obstacle course that includes the Slide & Drop, Wall Climb Slide, Tire Challenge, Cable Balance, Karate Kid, Tarzan Swing, Military Crawl, Log Crossing, Horse Back Riding, and Palo Sebo.

Bubble Battle

Time to challenge a friend with this Bubble Battle with just Php250. It will determine who has better strategies or who’s stronger. I really had so much fun on this.

Golf

They have an 18 Hole Golf Course and Driving range making it a perfect place for golf pros. But they also offer golf lessons for beginners like some of us did during our trip.

And for us who doesn’t know how to play golf, awesome drone shots can be achieved in this part of the resort.

Finding Nemo and Lake Fishing

Go and grab on some fishing rods and have a good catch! You can enjoy fishing outside your own floating cottage and chill. I hope you can catch a good tilapia or creme dory if you’re lucky enough.

Astrocamp

One unique activity in Mountain Lake Resort is the Astrocamp. Home to the third largest telescope in the Philippines, giving you a better view of the constellations. On that night when I attended the astrocamp, that’s when I knew that my favorite star belongs to the Orion Constellation.
